REAL ANSWERS…REAL LIFE…REAL LOVE
Next Steps!
You are in a Permanent Relationship Now (what does that even mean?)
God is with you from now on!
You might’ve heard people say, “Ask Jesus into your heart.” But what does that actually mean?
The Bible teaches that when you believe in Jesus — that He died for your sins and came back to life — something amazing happens. Jesus doesn’t stay far away. Through the Holy Spirit, He comes to live inside of you!
In the Bible, Ephesians 3:17 says, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” That means when you believe, Jesus becomes part of your life forever. He helps guide you, gives you peace, and shows you how much you are loved.
So asking Jesus into your heart isn’t just a sentence you say — it’s the start of a real relationship where He stays with you always. 💖
I’ve people say “God spoke to me,” what’s that about?
The Bible shows us that God still speaks today — not usually with a loud voice, but in ways we can hear with our hearts.
Christian author Henry Blackaby explained that God speaks to us in four main ways:
📖 Through the Bible
God’s Word is the clearest way He speaks. When you read Scripture, the Holy Spirit helps you understand what God is saying to you.
🙏 Through Prayer
Prayer isn’t just us talking — it’s also about listening. God can speak to your heart as you pray, bringing thoughts, verses, or direction to mind.
🌍 Through Circumstances
God often uses the situations in your life — open doors, closed doors, big events, or small surprises — to guide you toward His plan.
👥 Through the Church (Other Believers)
Sometimes God uses other people, like wise friends, leaders, or family, to speak truth, encouragement, or correction into your life.
The more you walk with God, the more you’ll learn to recognize His voice! 💡
If you’ve never stopped to ask God to speak into your life, why not start today? Open your Bible, take a moment to pray, and watch how God uses everyday things — even this website — to show you His love and guide your steps
When you give your life to Jesus, the Bible says the Holy Spirit comes to live in you. That happens the moment you believe!
📖 Ephesians 1:13 — "When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit."
But in the Bible, there are also moments when people who already believed experienced a second moment — where the Holy Spirit filled them with boldness, power, and gifts for doing God’s work.
🔥 Examples from the Bible:
✅ The Disciples — They believed in Jesus before He went to heaven, but later (in Acts 2) the Holy Spirit filled them with power at Pentecost!
✅ The Samaritans — They believed the gospel and were baptized, but later Peter and John prayed for them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. (Acts 8:14-17)
✅ The Ephesus Believers — They were believers, but when Paul prayed for them, the Holy Spirit filled them and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. (Acts 19:1-6)
💡 So What’s the Point?
The Bible shows us two truths:
When you believe in Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside you forever.
But you can also have fresh "fillings" of the Holy Spirit, where God gives you boldness, power, or spiritual gifts for His work.
It’s not about "getting more of God" — it’s about letting God have more of you.
💬 What Should I Do?
If you’ve trusted Jesus, the Holy Spirit already lives in you. But it’s okay — and even exciting — to ask God to fill you with His power and boldness, just like the early believers did!
🙏 Prayer:
"God, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to live in me when I believed in Jesus. I don’t want to stop there. Please fill me with Your power so I can live for You boldly and share Your love with others. I want all that You have for me! Amen."
